dweezilla music boot camp

learn and destroy

Announcing the return of DWEEZILLA Music Boot Camp at Full Moon Resort July 24-28, 2017! Join Dweezil and his band for an all new DWEEZILLA format that puts the focus on playing in an ensemble. It's your turn to play! #Zappa! #LearnandDestroy

In July 2017, Dweezil Zappa and his band will host the fifth Dweezilla Music Boot Camp in the Catskill Forest Preserve in Big Indian, New York. It's no fantasy camp where you learn how to play Frank Zappa's, however, you will will learn different styles of music and how to be a better musician. Dweezilla includes private concerts, lessons and daily interactions with the band and crew alike.

People from all ages and skill levels attend Dweezilla Music Boot Camp. All workshops are optional and open to everyone.

"I love teaching everyone, but my favorites are the real beginners." One of Dweezilla's most important factors is getting Frank's music to a younger generation. In past camps, participants have ranged from 14-70... it's all about connecting to the music.
